Soothing Hands Baby Massage aims to provide a safe environment in which you learn how to Massage your child.
Age of child
Whilst there is not a minimum age for the child to attend, many parents prefer to wait until their child is six weeks old before they begin the course, however this is personal choice. There is also not a maximum age, however this course is unsuitable for children that can crawl and older siblings.
Twins are very welcome to attend the course and a discounted rate will be given. You may like to bring another caregiver to help do the Massage strokes on the other child as the instructor is unable to do this.
Supervising your own child
All children must be supervised at all times, if you ask another member of the course to look after your child, this is at your risk.
Methods of payment
Payment is through the online booking system; however, payment can be made in cash by prior arrangement, but the full course must be paid for in advance.
Confirmation of payment
The participant will receive confirmation of payment and confirmation of acceptance onto the course.
Cancellation of the course
Should the course or particular session of the course be cancelled a new course/ catch up session will be offered. If this is not possible a refund will be given.
A course may be cancelled by letter or email 14 days before the course begins. In certain situations, another course date may be offered at the instructors’ discretion. The course could be gifted to a friend as long as the instructor has been informed prior to the course taking place. There will also be a cancellation fee to cover the administrative costs incurred.
Holidays and sickness policy
If your baby is ill or you have a holiday booked it may be possible to attend another course as long as this has been agreed with the instructor prior to the absence.
